CODE OF CONDUCT
The school rules have been divided into various sections and students are expected to adhere to the code of conduct mentioned therein. Please note that noncompliance with the school rules shall lead to consequences which may also include dismissal from the school.
- A student should school carry his / her Almanac to school every day. It must have his / her photograph with complete information duly signed by parents / guardians.
- Students should reach the school at least 5 minutes before the bell timing.
- The school gate will be closed after the first bell rings and for all late arrivals action will be taken immediately.
- Three consecutive late arrivals would lead to the students being sent back home.
- In case the child is being picked up by a person other than the Parent / Nominee, a prior written permission must be taken from school authority.
- Students who come to school in the care of helpers should never leave before the helper arrives. Helpers must carry ID Cards. The loss of an ID card must be reported to the school immediately. In case of any delay they should report to the school office.
- Students should refrain from carrying valuable items to school. Although every care will be taken to student’s property, the school will not be responsible for any theft or loss of the same.
- Any kind of damage done by the students to the school property within the school premises must be reported to the Principal. Damage of any kind is subject to a fine or payment for replacement / repairs.
- School management reserves the right to suspend / expel students whose conduct is harmful to the other students or to the school.
- Students should greet their seniors and teachers and give them due respect at all time. Bullying and inappropriate language is not allowed in the school.
UNIFORM AND APPEARANCE RULE
The school uniform gives an exclusive identity to students and promotes the feeling of unity and discipline among students.
- Students must wear clean and tidy school uniform on all the school days.
- The uniform should be of the proper size, fitting and should be well ironed.
- Boys should have their shirts buttoned up and well tucked in trousers. Also, boys are not to wear baggy pants.
- Girls are to keep their skirts knee length, and follow dress code.
- All boys and girls are expected to follow the dress code to maintain the decorum on educational tours organized during school hours.
- Students should have clean, combed and trimmed hair.
- Students should maintain proper personal hygiene and cleanliness. They should cut their nails at regular intervals to ensure safety against diseases.
- Only socks, shoes belt, necktie and school blazer prescribed by the school are allowed. Any other brand will not be acceptable. Blazers must be worn everyday till winter uniform changes.
ATTENDANCE RULE
The school uniform gives an exclusive identity to students and promotes the feeling of unity and discipline among students.
- Students must have a minimum attendance of 75% during the academic year in order to take the school examinations.
- In case of missing school, a leave application must be presented to the school duly signed by the parents/guardian.
- In case of absenteeism due to illness, students must present a medical certificate to the school.
- Long leave may only be taken with the prior permission of the Principal.
- No student is permitted to leave school during school hours without a valid permission slip from the Class Teacher/Head Mistress.
